Apostille Preparation & Submission Assistance

Using a document outside the United States? DocuTrust helps organize eligible Florida documents for apostille or authentication requests. We review the document, country of use and recipient’s instructions before confirming preparation, submission and follow-up. The government issues the authentication certificate.

Your peace of mind, documented.

Help from preparation through submission

Review your document

Share the document type, issuing authority and intended country of use. We review the available records and published submission requirements before accepting the work.

Prepare the request

Organize the request paperwork and eligible original or certified document, as required by the issuing agency. A photocopy may not meet the requirements.

Coordinate submission

Prepare and submit the agreed request to the Florida Department of State. Government fees, postage and any third-party costs are identified separately from DocuTrust’s service charge.

Follow up and coordinate return

Follow up on the submitted request and coordinate return arrangements. Agency processing and carrier delivery times remain outside our control.

A simple process

  1. Tell us what you need

Share the document type, issuing authority and country of use.

  2. Confirm scope and price

We review the requirements and confirm the service, availability and cost before starting.

  3. Prepare for the service

Follow the document checklist and the instructions we confirm for your appointment or delivery.

Prepare your documents

Begin with a general description. Do not send identity numbers or private document copies through the contact form. We will coordinate review and handling of originals.

Common questions

Does DocuTrust issue the apostille?

No. DocuTrust provides preparation, submission assistance and follow-up. The competent government authority issues the apostille or authentication certificate.

Is an apostille the same as a translation or notarization?

No. They serve different purposes. Share the recipient’s instructions so we can confirm which separate services your document needs.

Can every document be submitted in Florida?

No. The issuing authority and document type matter. Documents issued elsewhere may need a different authority. We confirm whether the Florida submission service fits your document before accepting it.

How long will it take?

Timing depends on document readiness, government processing and delivery. We confirm an estimate after reviewing the request and do not guarantee agency processing or acceptance.

What costs are included?

We confirm DocuTrust’s preparation and handling charge before starting. Government fees, shipping and other third-party costs are listed separately. Any translation or notarization has its own scope.
